Mission

The mission of the Colorado State Fire Chiefs’ Foundation is to
provide educational opportunities, including
scholarships, to fire and emergency services professionals; develop public information
programs to promote and raise public awareness of
Colorado's fire and emergency services; to assist
other related organizations in the development and
implementation of public education programs; and
to provide grants to fire and emergency service
organizations.
The foundation also desires to have the ability to
provide firefighting equipment to Colorado's
firefighters and fire departments.
Background
The Foundation was established in 2002 as a
not-for-profit corporation under the laws of the
State of Colorado and received its IRS
classification as a 501(c)(3) charitable
organization
(FEIN: 40-0001290).
Funding will be through personal donations,
corporate giving and fund raising events. Donations
to the Colorado State Fire Chiefs’ Foundation are
tax deductible.
