Issues . . .
The
word “issues” is a bit of an overworked buzz word these
days. The term seems to apply to problems,
disagreements and even troubled relationships. While we
hope that there are not many fire service related
matters in the latter two categories, we as members of
the Colorado State Fire Chiefs’ Association do have
“issues”. Here are some that merit your thought,
concern and action.

2008 Membership Recruitment Campaign
JOIN – RENEW – RECRUIT
Join or renew your membership in the CSFCA before April
30, 2008, or recruit new members or corporate
sponsors before June 30, 2008 and be eligible
for prizes including a Full-Conference Registration
to Fire Rescue International 2008 to be held in
Denver on August 14-16, 2008.

Planning for the 2008 Fire Leadership
Challenge Well Underway
The 17th Annual Fire Leadership Challenge will
take place on December 4-6, 2008 at the Beaver Run
Resort in Breckenridge. The CSFCA Leadership
Challenge Committee is already working to plan a
conference that will make our final year in
Breckenridge the best ever.
